I found out i had a rather nasty dropped stitch in the secret project.

Repairs are currently being formulated.

I was playing around with my new knitting book and managed to do cabling, i did some more messing around and was able to stitch it into a cabled wrist band.

Unfortunately being cotton i can't felt it, however i might try something similar in future when i buy some more Noro wool in some even more interesting colors. The cabling is useful for the next side project (previously side project 3), and then will be useful for secret project 4, which is now tentatively titled "A Clue? YES!"

This is an odd pattern, or rather an odd result where you do a basket like pattern but only one stitch wide.

Its a really nice texture that would be good as a face flannel for exfoliating, i'll let you know whether its good or not.

Just playing around with cotton before i learn how to do side project number 3, which will be useful for main project number 4 (codenamed "a clue with big neon arrows")

Secret project 3 has made it as far as the turquoise yarn :)

Here's the latest progress of secret project 3,

Admittedly I've had to start again a few times since the previous progress picture, but I'm finally on the way towards completing the project. However I have lost a row marker, but i've managed a few loops since then. Just in case to stop mistakes, i'm going to try to find something to fashion into a row marker in the morning.
